Statement of Faith
There is ONE GOD, infinitely perfect and immutable, existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4, Matt. 5:48, Mal. 3:6, Matt. 28:19)
GOD THE FATHER is the infinite, eternal, absolute and omnipotent ruler in the universe, sovereign in creation, providence, and redemption, and perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. He orders and disposes all things according to His own purposes and grace, and for His own Glory. He created “the heavens and the earth and all that is in them” according to His own will through His Son, Jesus Christ. He mercifully concerns Himself in the affairs of men by hearing and answering prayer, and by saving from sin and death all those who come to Him through Jesus Christ. Col. 1:16, Prov. 15:29, John 3:16)
JESUS CHRIST is TRULY GOD and TRULY MAN, sent by the Father, conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin, Mary. He died upon the cross, the Just for the unjust, as a substitutionary sacrifice, and all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood. He arose from the dead according to Holy Scriptures, and is now at the right hand of the Majesty on high as our great High Priest. He will come again to establish His eternal kingdom of righteousness and peace.

The HOLY SPIRIT is a divine person, sent to indwell, transform, guide, teach, gift, empower, and bear His fruit in every believer, and to convict the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. (John 14:16-18,
John 16:13, 1 Cor. 12:4, Acts 1:8, Gal. 5:22-23, John 16:7-11)
The OLD and NEW TESTAMENTS, inerrant as originally given, were God-breathed, verbally inspired by God, and are a complete revelation of His will for mankind’s salvation. They constitute the divine and only rule of Christian faith and practice. (2 Peter 1:20-21, 2 Tim. 3:15-17)
Man was ORIGINALLY CREATED in the IMAGE and LIKENESS of GOD but fell through disobedience, thereby incurring both physical and spiritual death. All people are born with a sinful nature, are separated from the life of God, and can only be saved through the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ. The prospect of the believer in Christ is existence forever in everlasting joy and bliss, and that of the impenitent and unbelieving is existence forever in conscious torment. (Gen. 1:27,

SALVATION has been provided through Jesus Christ for all people. Those who repent and believe in Him are justified by grace through faith, are born again of the Holy Spirit, are granted the gift of eternal life, and become the children of God. (1 John 2:2, Rom. 3:21-24, Titus 3:4-7,
John 3:16, Rom. 8:14-16, John 1:12)
It is the will of God that each believer should be FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT and be sanctified wholly, being separated from sin and the world and fully dedicated to the will of God, thereby receiving power for holy living and effective service. This is both a crisis and a progressive experience wrought in the life of the believer subsequent to conversion. (Acts 1:8, 1 Thess. 5:23, Rom. 6:1-14)
Provision is made in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ for the HEALING OF THE WHOLE MORTAL PERSON. Praying for the sick and anointing with oil are taught in the Scriptures, and are privileges for the church in this present age. (Isa. 53:4-5, Matt. 8:16-17, James 5:13-16,
Acts 4:30)
THE CHURCH consists of all those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, are redeemed through His blood, and are born again of the Holy Spirit. Christ is the Head of the Body, the Church, which He commissioned to go into all the world as a witness, preaching the gospel to all nations. The LOCAL CHURCH is an Elder-led body of believers in Jesus Christ who are joined together for the worship of God, edification through the Word of God, proclamation of the Gospel, prayer, observance of the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper, and for fellowship.

Scripture establishes and affirms the pattern and principles of MALE LEADERSHIP in both the home and the church, and limits the role of pastoral leadership and doctrinal/spiritual authority in the church to qualified men. (1 Cor. 11:1-12, Eph. 5:21-33, 1 Tim 2:1-15, 1 Tim. 3:1-7,

The SECOND COMING OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST is imminent, and will be personal, visible, and premillennial. This is the blessed hope of all who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and a vital truth promoting holy living and faithful service. (Heb. 10:37, Luke 21:27, Titus 2:11-14)
There will be a BODILY RESURRECTION OF THE JUST AND UNJUST; for the just, a resurrection unto life; for the unjust, a resurrection unto judgment. (John 5:28-29, 1 Cor. 15:20-23)
There is a LITERAL HEAVEN and a LITERAL HELL. Those who repent of their sins and place their faith, hope and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ will spend eternity in Heaven with Him. Those who reject Jesus Christ and His free gift of salvation will spend eternity in Hell separated from the Lord.
